Gail Rubin is author of The Family Plot Blog: Funeral Planning for Those Who Don't Plan to Die. She wrote “Matchings, Hatchings and Dispatchings,” a local newspaper feature on life cycle events, and found the articles on death elicited reader responses that indicated a need for such information.
